Given the departments research into business intelligence and analytics solutions in the child welfare arena, we feel that due to several factors Mindshare is the only vendor that can meet the needs of the Agency. These factors include a $90,000 cost savings, a 30 day time to market, standardization and compatibility with predictive analytics currently being provided by Mindshare via Eckerd to DCFS, out of the box functionality, existing data mapping, mobile and web facing functionality, as well as onsite training and 24/7/365 support included at no additional cost. To attempt to integrate any other vendor would not be in the best interest of the state.

Due to the fact that Mindshare is currently being utilized by Eckerd for the Rapid Safety Feedback Program the data and mapping already exists which enables compatibility across the predictive and operational metrics and reports and allows for data integrity and standardization. They are able to waive the initial set up cost of $90,000 and fully implement key dashboards and reports within 30 days.

In addition, Mindshare has immediate out of the box functionality including but not limited to; automated standard federal report metrics (e.g., AFCARS, NCANDS, NYTD), two role defined mobile apps, web facing automation, as well as several operational dashboards which can be customized by the end user. This vendor will also provide on-site training to the field and a 24/7/365 helpdesk for support.
