|The Illinois Tollway is giving notice of its intent to enter into a sole source contract to exercise a one year renewal option with Infor Public Sector, Inc. (formerly EnRoute Emergency Systems, LLC).|
This renewal will provide continual coverage of software maintenance for their computer aided dispatch (CAD) system. The CAD system utilizes computerized resource files and an integrated management system to assist the dispatcher quickly, accurately and efficiently manage multiple resources responding simultaneously to incidents and crashes that occur on the Illinois Tollway.
The CAD system is also a tool used to gather and preserve information regarding emergency and non-emergency incidents on the Tollway. The system maintains a complete history of all incidents that occur on the Tollway or involve a Tollway or Illinois State Police, District 15 unit. The CAD system software is proprietary. No other entity, other than Infor Public Sector can maintain or modify the software.

A sole source contract will be awarded on that date and the hearing will be cancelled, unless an interested party submits a written request for public hearing by March 20, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.
If a public hearing is requested, the purchasing agency shall present testimony justifying the procurement method. Any interested party may present testimony for or against the sole source determination as described in this notice. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive information from the public regarding whether a sole source award is appropriate and in accordance with the Illinois Procurement Code. Formal rules of evidence will not apply. Hearings may be recorded in order to aid in the production of minutes. Parties may submit written comments in lieu of attending the hearing. Written comments will be afforded the same weight as oral comments received at the hearing.
