|The Illinois Tollway is giving notice of its intent to amend its contract with Maron Structure Technologies dba Structure Technologies Inc., for the PBX Maintenance Phone Systems which includes the Dispatch Center for the Illinois State Police District 15, roadway maintenance operations, and the Traffic Incident Monitoring Center. Due to the critical nature of these operations for the agency, services must function twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, with no interruption of service to the public.|
The original award notice was published in 2007 under reference #22013569. The contract was awarded in the amount of $636,847.00 with four (4) renewal options. Renewal 1 was published on 7/29/11 under reference #22022202; renewal 2 was published on 9/10/12 under reference #22028064; renewal 3 was published on 9/3/13 under reference #22031516; and renewal 4 was published on 5/21/14 under reference #22033265. The cost of this last renewal is $231,232.30.
This contract has a BEP goal of 30%.
Description: The request is to extend the current contract 07-0099 PBX Maintenance Phone System, for one year from 10/16/2015 through 10/15/2016 at a cost of $231,232.30 with Maron Structure Technologies dba Structure Technologies Inc.
The process of procuring and implementing a new solution will not be completed by the time the current contract with Maron Technologies will expire. A new RFP solicitation will be forthcoming.
This amendment/change order is in the best interest of the State to continue the services with the current vendor and is germane to the original contract as signed, as this vendor provides maintenance and repair of the current Avaya PBX telephone systems for the Illinois Tollway. This amendment is necessary to keep the current system supported and functioning until the new solution is up and running.
