|The Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (Department) Office of Employment and Training is giving notice of intent to utilize the first of two renewal options with Kerber, Eck & Braeckel LLP to continue providing Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) technical assistance, monitoring and compliance, and other services to the Department and its WIOA grantees statewide. The WIOA grantees are local governments, non-profit organizations and other public-private partners. The services are to be provided on an as-needed basis. |
It is the determination of the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity that Kerber, Eck & Braeckel LLP scored the highest on the technical evaluation criteria. Because the services contemplated in the solicitation are professional and artistic in nature, with the individuals and firms being qualified by education, experience, and technical ability, price was not a scored criteria. The Department believes that the blended rate listed is fair and reasonable.
Kerber, Eck & Braeckel LLP - Blended Hourly Rate of $166.67/hr. from the initial term will continue to be utilized.
This renewal is based upon an original solicitation that was solicited under the guidelines for Professional & Artistic Services (P&A) under 30ILCS500/Article 35.
There is no BEP Goal.
For purposes of compliance with Section 511 of P.L. 101-166 and 101-517, (the “Stevens Amendment”), vendors are advised the total amount of federal funding available for the entire contract period (initial term and renewal terms) will not exceed $2,040,040 and 100% of the funds for this program will be derived from federal sources.
